What are the dates of the trip?

Tentatively, we are planning for July xx-July xx. We will confirm by the end of the year.

What is the cost?

The total cost of the trip is $XXXX. The price is based on a single occupancy room and includes hotel accommodations, taxes and most meals. Airfare and transportation to and from Beaune is not included in the price.

How long will we be together?

You will be with us the evening of the XX of July through the following xx of July. The next morning, you are on your own. We have a concierge service to provide you with additional accommodations and an itinerary should you want to travel throughout the area.

Do I have to attend every event?

While you do not have to attend every event we have planned together, you will glean the most knowledge if you do join us for every event. We will not be able to provide discounts or refunds for events not attended since we based the trip off of group rates.

Can you tell me more about the concierge service?

The person who is behind planning all the mechanics of the trip is the lovely and professional Milena Berman. She has made Beaune her home for about 4 years now and does travel planning all over the world. She has kindly offered her services at an additional fee if you need help planning on where to go or what to do in France after our trip is over. She can coordinate additional hotel nights, B+Bs or outings that sound like fun while you are on the continent. Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! We love for friends to come. It makes it more fun!

Can I bring someone along that doesn't want to attend the classes?

Of course! We can make arrangements through our concierge service for additional guests.

What equipment will I need?

While you can take the classes with any camera, Libby will be instructing with a DSLR. You can gain knowledge even by using a smart phone, but the best parts of the class will come with using a DSLR.  Please come with some knowledge of how to work your camera.

You will need the following for the class: Camera + lens, batteries, memory cards for your camera, chargers, power converters (if applicable). Optional: additional lenses, off camera flash, pocket sized reflector, tripod or monopod, computer. 

Do I need to be a pro?

Not at all! We are teaching the basics of photography in a GORGEOUS setting. All levels are welcome, but this class is really designed for beginners and those who want to know more.

Will we need extra money?

While most everything is included in the overall price, I always advise bringing extra cash with you on a trip in case you forget something or lose something. Better to be safe than sorry.

Will it be handicapped accessible?

While some places are handicapped accessible, you will need to be mobile for this trip. We will be covering cobblestone streets, rocky fields and small staircases in some instances. So come prepared.
