Are you afraid to float in the salty waters? Or do you stand on the waters edge looking in, afraid of what lurk below the surface? Afraid of what you can’t see. Maybe it’s nothing. Maybe just dive in and see what happens.

I wrote a blog post today about my dad and seashells. I won’t go into it all here, because it was so complicated and simple all together that I couldn’t do it justice. Sweet, messy life.

Life is sweet and messy. Take a big bite. Frosting, sprinkles and all. Get the crumbs everywhere. Wash it down with milk and stop worrying about depriving yourself of yet more delicious treats. Just jump in and savor the sweetness.
